Our story

When a dog owner with a passion for all things hair-related meets a neighboring animal lover who is a hair care product importer, it sparks a conversation about dogs, hair, hair products, business aspirations, and a new company.

The neighboring entrepreneur is a seasoned professional who kindly offered to share their knowledge and skills in import and product development. With this knowledge, products sold under the Kalve brand have been developed and refined. Collaboration has continued in the form of joint products.

The range includes products from other Finnish companies as well as Kalve's own products.

The products are produced responsibly, and we work closely with a forestry company to offset the company's carbon footprint.

I, entrepreneur Elina, run the company. I have moved from Lapland to Ostrobothnia, and from the beginning, it has been important to me that my beloved home region is reflected in the company. For example, the company is named after the dialect I speak.
